
Bob Steeler
Bob has been creating art all his life, starting out in the 1980's as a sculptor and transitioning to a full-time painter after that.
He has shown his work in galleries internationally, including San Francisco, New York City, Paris, France, Steamboat Springs, Vail, Aspen & Denver, Colorado. For many years, Bob painted both commercial and private murals as well as executing many commissions. During his time living in Colorado, he created a large mural in Denver for a brewery, which was 29' x 130', and won "Best Commercial Mural" in 1988.
He has sold artwork to many private collectors, among them, Ewan McGregor, Don Johnson, Melanie Griffith, Mario Van Peebles, and Malcolm Bricklin.​
Bob Steeler has been a professional musician all his life. He was the drummer during the "Rampage Years" with Hot Tuna.
He is the drummer on 4 Hot Tuna albums as well as several compilations.
He also played with the "Offs", a pivotal Punk era band from San Fransisco. Bob played with Jerry Garcia and Merle Saunders while living in SanFrancisco.
After moving to NYC , he played with Johnny Thunders and Wayne Kramer.
Bob is still a part of the local music scene in Central New Jersey today.
